UT College of Social Work Brings Peer Learning to Online Students
Students Wanted Connection. Yellowdig Made It Possible.

The University of Tennessee College of Social Work is introducing Yellowdig to its online MSSW students starting Summer 2025. Instructional Designer Abiodun Ajayi led the initiative after a college-wide student survey revealed a strong desire for peer connection beyond the classroom. The gradual rollout begins with Advanced Standing students before expanding to the broader MSSW program in Fall 2025, with the goal of reducing isolation and building a stronger sense of community in online learning.
