Shaunak Roy
Founder & CEO
Shaunak Roy is the Founder and CEO of Yellowdig, where he has helped build a social collaboration and gamified active learning platform adopted by more than 200 colleges, K-12 schools, and corporate training clients. Yellowdig was recognized by TIME’s World’s Top EdTech Rising Stars of 2024, a list of 15 companies globally recognized in the “Rising Stars” category. He brings a background in engineering, strategy, and business development, along with degrees from IIT Bombay and MIT and a decade of management consulting experience. Prior to founding Yellowdig, he served as Director of Business Development at FMC Corporation.

Akiba Covitz
Chief Academic Officer
As Chief Academic Officer, Akiba Covitz brings a career devoted to teaching, faculty development, and better learning experiences for students and educators. He was an award-winning professor of constitutional law and civil rights, the inaugural Associate Dean for Faculty Development at Harvard Law School, and the founding Vice President for University Relations at edX. He has also led business development at Minerva Project and previously worked at Yellowdig from 2016 to 2017.
Eva Prokop
Chief of Staff
As Chief of Staff, Eva leads Yellowdig’s cross-functional operations and aligns the team around strategy and execution. She draws on diverse experience, with a career spanning higher education, K-12, and non-profit leadership. Before joining Yellowdig, she held executive roles at GetSet, PrepMe, The Princeton Review, YMCA, and the Polish American Association.
Bob Ertischek
VP of Client Success
Bob Ertischek is VP of Client Success at Yellowdig and a member of the company’s senior leadership team. He leads client success, non-enterprise sales, and support, partnering with institutions to strengthen student engagement and retention. Before Yellowdig, Bob spent more than a decade teaching political science at Monroe Community College, worked as an instructional technologist and faculty developer at Rochester Institute of Technology, and founded Profology, an online community for higher education professionals.
Eric Bjerstedt
VP of Product
As VP of Product, Eric leads the product and engineering teams to design and build the Yellowdig platform. He brings more than 15 years of product leadership in higher education, with a focus on student success and building tools that students, faculty, and administrators love. Before Yellowdig, Eric co-founded GetSet, which improves retention and success for first-generation and nontraditional students, and led the development of the PrepMe adaptive learning platform.
