Bringing GetSet’s early-journey expertise into Yellowdig to boost enrollment, retention, and alumni connection across the lifecycle.
PHILADELPHIA —
Philadelphia, PA – [Sept 25, 2025] – Yellowdig, a leader in active learning and social engagement platforms, announced today the acquisition of GetSet Learning, a pioneering student enrollment and retention company. This strategic move underscores Yellowdig’s deepening commitment to full lifecycle learner engagement, from onboarding and orientation through academic success and alumni connections.
By integrating GetSet’s proven expertise in early-stage learner engagement, Yellowdig will expand its capabilities across its Connect, Engage, and Succeed platforms. Over the past decade, GetSet has built a strong reputation for addressing the crucial early moments of the learner journey, a time that often determines long-term persistence and success.
“Bringing GetSet’s platform, knowledge, and innovation into Yellowdig allows us to serve learners even more holistically,” said Shaunak Roy, Founder & CEO of Yellowdig. “We’re building a future where every learner feels connected, supported, and motivated from the moment they step into their academic journey—and this acquisition is a powerful step forward in making that vision real.”
GetSet’s senior team will remain in place to provide high-touch support for existing clients, ensuring continuity of service. Meanwhile, Yellowdig will bring additional depth and scale to the platform, enhancing student communities and driving measurable outcomes for institutions.
“We are proud of the community and expertise we’ve built over the years to help learners thrive in those early, critical stages,” said Karan Goel, Co-Founder & CEO of GetSet. “Joining forces with Yellowdig ensures our clients and learners not only continue to benefit from that foundation but also gain access to a richer, more comprehensive ecosystem adding capabilities such as classroom academic communities, advising, and alumni engagement.”
As part of the deal, Karan Goel will join Yellowdig as an Advisor, helping guide the seamless integration of GetSet’s capabilities into Yellowdig and ensuring continued value for learners and institutions.
